Hello! 

 

I started printmaking in 2020 with the launch of my original brand "the bespoke print". I specialised in making personalised clothing with peoples pets, creating Linoprint's as the basis to personalise clothing. I had a lot of success, making a range of personalised hoodies/t-shirts for pet owners, as well the dog walking/training community which really propelled my work. I even had the opportunity to make personalised items for Luisa Zissman and Jenni Falconer which was one of my top highlights!

However, with a new opportunity at work I decided to go back full time and so "the bespoke print" was slowly wound down.

However, my love for printmaking never went and on the side I have been creating prints as a bit of escapism - but now I have so many I feel its wasted to keep them locked away in the drawer and not to be enjoyed.

So this year, following some significant life changes I decided that life is too short and doing what makes you happy IS IMPORTANT!! So, I rebranded as MXLINOPRINTS (Max - my name + Linoprints), worked hard creating reels (which I really am not a fan of!) and putting myself out there to see where my prints can take me.

As you may notice, I have a penchant for creating Horses, and also animals/wildlife that mean something to me, or random requests from my children (such as the Macaws and Crab). 

​

My proudest print is "Mackerel of Deal" which is dedicated to my Father who I sadly I lost this year. We used to go fishing in Deal as children and caught so many Mackerel - it really reminds me of him.
